What We Do:

The Board of Elections takes pride in providing all eligible citizens the opportunity to register to vote, to cast a ballot, and to have their ballots accurately counted.  Along with conducting fair and legal elections, the office promotes public confidence by conducting elections in an efficient and transparent manner.

To ensure Jenkins County residents are up to date with news regarding elections, the Board holds Regular Monthly Meetings the fourth Monday of each month at 9 a.m.  Minutes are available upon request within in five days of the scheduled meeting.

Each meeting shall provide time for public comment, during which citizens may speak on voter registration and election-related matters.  Each speaker shall be permitted 5 minutes to speak provided that speakers refrain from abusive, profane or derogatory language.  To be recognized, each speaker must submit a request form in a format approved by the Board within five business days to the commencement of the meeting. Contact the elections office to request the form.
