November 4, 2025 Election Day 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Anyone that has not already advanced voted in person or cast an absentee by mail ballot will need to go to their assigned precinct to vote).

All Advanced (Absentee In-Person) Voting will take place Monday through Friday from 9:00 am -5:00 pm., at the Jenkins County Elections Office, 833 East Winthrope Avenue, Millen, Georgia, 30442.To request an application for an Absentee Ballot by Mail, contact the Election's Office at 478-982-3985 or by mail at Jenkins County Elections P.O. CANVASSING OF RETURNS

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. 21-2-492, notice is hereby given that the computation and canvassing of the returns in the Municipal Nonpartisan/Special
General Election on November 4, 2025, will begin on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 5 p.m. and continue daily 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. until complete. All computation and canvassing will be held in the Elections Office located at 833 East Winthrope Avenue, Millen, Georgia. This 1st day of September, 2025.

DROP BOX LOCATION AND AVAILABILITY
FOR THE MUNICIPAL NONPARTISAN GENERAL/SPECIAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 4, 2025

According to O.C.G.A. 21-2-382 and 21-2-385, a board ofregistrars shall establish at least one drop box as a means for absentee-by-mail electors to deliver their ballots to the board of registrars. Drop boxes shall be established at the office of the board of registrars. Such drop boxes shall be closed when advance voting is not being conducted at that location. All drop boxes shall be closed when the advance voting period ends. The drop box location shall have adequate lighting and be under constant surveillance by an election official.

Therefore, the drop box for the Municipal Nonpartisan General/Special Election on November 4, 2025, is in the Elections and Registration Office, 833 East Winthrope Avenue, Millen, Georgia 30442. The drop box is available from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, from October 14, 2025, through October 31, 2025.

Pmsuant to O.G.C.A. §21-2-386 (a) (2)(A), this is to notify the citizens of the City of Millen and Jenkins County, Georgia that the Election Superintendent will begin processing mail-out absentee ballots early for the Municipal Nonpartisan/Special General Election on November 4, 2025. The early processing of mail-out absentee ballots will be performed in the Elections Office located at the 833 East Winthrope Avenue Millen, Georgia 30442 on the following dates and times:

LOGIC AND ACCURACY TESTING FOR THE
Municipal General and Special Election on November 4, 2025

The logic and accuracy preparation and testing of the absentee, advanced, and election-day voting equipment for the Municipal General and Special Election on November 4, 2025, will take place at the Jenkins County Elections Office located at 833 East Winthrope Avenue Millen, Georgia 30442 and conclude at the Jenkins County Senior Citizen Center located at 998 College Avenue Millen, Georgia 30442. Said preparation and testing will begin on September 23, 2025, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and will continue from day to day until complete. Members of the public, candidates, news media, and representatives of political parties and bodies are permitted to observe such preparation and testing.
